Summer is slipping away and the air is getting crisp. We’re gearing up for pumpkins, apples and fall fun! Check out some of the fall festivals happening around Ohio this October.

Hocking Valley Scenic Railway Fall Foliage Tours & Halloween Train
The Hocking Valley Scenic Railway has special train trips all year long. In October, they offer seasonal fall rides. You’ll be able to take in the fall foliage on a scenic two-hour ride or take a seat on the “Halloween” Train, where Halloween costumes are encouraged on a trip along the Hocking River Valley.

Pumpkin Fest at Pigeon Roost Farms
Looking to take in all things fall? Gather the family and head to Pigeon Roost Farms. There you’ll find giant slides, mazes, a fort, and pumpkins on display.
This farm doesn’t accept cash payments and is only open through the end of October, so be sure to come prepared.

Circleville Pumpkin Show
The Circleville Pumpkin Show runs October 15th – 18th. This free admission festival is packed with amusement rides, games, parades, arts and crafts and plenty of delicious fall food.

The Great Pumpkin Glow
The Kingwood Center Gardens Great Pumpkin Glow presented by OhioHealth will be Friday – Sunday, October 17th – 19th, from 4 – 9 p.m. each night. Join in for a night full of fun family memories with a DJ, 1,000 community-carved jack-o-lanterns, Children’s Carnival, the Greenhouse Glow, Enchanted Forest, and more! Advance ticket purchase is required, so get your tickets and costumes ready.
Don’t forget to join the community on October 15th and 16th for a free pumpkin carving event to prepare for the pumpkin glow.

The Great Westerville Pumpkin Glow
Westerville Parks and Recreation’s signature fall event will go from October 17th – 20th from 6:30 – 10p.m., Featuring an array of fall activities, including axe throwing, pumpkin bowling, a mechanical pumpkin ride and more, it doesn’t get more fall than this! Come hungry for a variety of food truck vendors. Ticket sales open Monday, September 3rd – you won’t want to miss it!

Harvest Moon Festival
This free festival is truly all things fall, featuring everything from food trucks, a petting zoo, rock climbing, crafts, face and pumpkin painting to carriage rides, bounce houses, pumpkin carving and archery! Visit this fun-packed festival on October 11th from 4 to 8 p.m.!

Honey Haven Fall Festival
From September 27th – October 26th, get free admission to a tractor-drawn wagon ride through the pumpkin patch, visit the country store, craft barn, corn maze and much more! Be sure to stop by for all the fall photo opportunities, tasty food and guaranteed family fun.

Prairie Peddler Festival
This annual festival in Butler, OH is the perfect fall event for families and kids! Browse over 220 booths of local artists and makers, enjoy live music, and bring home some gourmet goods like honey, syrup, candies and savory snacks. This fun festival is happening September 27th-28th and October 4th-5th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
