Thanksgiving Weekend kicks off the holiday light season, and there’s a glorious array of colorful displays to take in:

Let your artistic side loose! Visit Open Studio at the Columbus Museum of Art, where you can dabble in exploring ideas and solving creative challenges with friends and family.
Early start on Christmas
- CAPA, in collaboration with Short North Stage, will bring to life the holiday classic A Christmas Carol on the Ohio Theatre stage for Thanksgiving weekend.
- While the whole gang is probably already gathered for Thanksgiving, use this time to head out and pick your Christmas tree. Check out this site to see what tree farms are nearby and what fun activities are in store.
Sports
- Ready to take in some hockey? The Columbus Blue Jackets take on the Pittsburgh Penguins on November 28th.
- Come out to see some of the best high school hockey in the state of Ohio at the 27th Annual Chiller Thanksgiving Classic. The tournament runs from Nov 28-30th at various Chiller locations.
