Workout Wednesday: Quick HIIT Workout

Short on time? No weights to be found? Don’t worry! Our Exercise Physiologists from OhioHealth’s Grant Health and Fitness Center have a quick, HIIT (Hight Intensity Interval Training) workout for you!

 Exercises

  • Air squats
  • Plank
  • Burpees
  • Sit ups

What to do:

  • Do each exercise for 20 seconds then take a 10-second break, 8 times
  • Each exercise should last you 4 minutes
  • After you complete a 4 minute round, rest for 1 minute and move on to the next exercise
  • The entire workout should take you 19 minutes to complete

An interval timer is super handy when doing HIIT workouts. You can find plenty to choose from in your favorite app store.
