Winter break is a fun time for kids – especially with all the gift exchanging and new toys to play with from the holidays! But sometimes children need a little extra entertainment; here are some activities to keep the holidays jolly!

Indoor activities:
- Build a fun obstacle course in your living room with forts, tunnels and climbing.
- Help inspire creativity by writing a story. They can even add illustrations for some extra fun.
- Make some fun winter-themed crafts, like snowflakes or ornaments.
- Break out the board games! For an extra challenge, try teaching them to play chess or checkers.
- Get artsy with some painting or clay building.
- Put together a holiday themed puzzle.
- Practice math skills with some flashcards or games.
- Help your children write thank you cards for the presents they’ve received over the holidays.

Outdoor activities:
- Hit the slopes and try sledding on a small hill.
- Make snow angels in the yard or at a park.
- Try ice skating and treat them to some hot coco.
- Build a snowman or snow family.
- Make an igloo or a snow fort.
- Have a snowball fight.
- Take a trip to look at the holiday lights around your neighborhood or town.
