It is not recommended to take acetaminophen, ibuprofen, or Benadryl prior to receiving your vaccine as researchers are not sure yet whether or not it would interfere with an immune response.
If you experience symptoms post-vaccine, the CDC does recommend taking acetaminophen or ibuprofen to lessen symptoms.
