A common question he receives is, “Dr. Gastaldo, I had COVID. When can I get my vaccine or my booster?” The CDC addressed this. The official response is as long as the person is out of isolation – meaning they are no longer contagious – and they are subjectively feeling better, they are good to go get a COVID-19 shot or a booster.
