What do I need to know about the 2021 flu shot?

In this Fast Fact, he tells us vaccines have been available in our country for over 100 years. Vaccines save lives. Vaccines are safe and effective. The flu vaccine has been around for over 30 years. It’s something that most of us are used to. Getting vaccinated against the flu prevents severe outcomes from the flu. With all of the conversations surrounding the COVID-19 vaccines, you may have new hesitancy around the flu vaccine. Dr. Gastaldo reminds us that the flu shot your healthcare provider gives is not new. It’s been around for a long time and it’s something most of us have had for many years now.
