What's Happening With The Flu This Year?

In a recent fast fact video, Joe Gastaldo, MD System Medical Director for Infectious Diseases at OhioHealth discussed the current flu status.

We are seeing more influenza this year compared to last year. However, in the State of Ohio, influenza activity remains extraordinarily low. That is likely due to the fact that we are still fairly isolated and wearing masks.

Keep in mind that flu season goes until early to mid-March. Our low flu activity today may change as we get through February and March.
