The mRNA vaccines have four simple ingredients. There is a little bit of sugar, salt, messenger RNA, which all of our cells have, and a little bit of fat. The vaccines don’t have any preservatives. That’s why after the vial is opened, you only have a limited time to use the vaccine before you need to discard it.
